The beach faces the open Atlantic, so there is swell nearly every day. Winter brings the big days, summer the small and friendly ones.
Best month for intermediates. 4/3 wetsuit.

You should be comfortable in the water, but beginner lessons are in waist-deep whitewater with a coach within arm's reach.
Swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. Boards and wetsuits are included in every lesson and camp.
Between 15 and 20 degrees depending on the month, 18 on average. A 4/3 wetsuit keeps you warm all year.
With 300 surf days a year it is rare. If the sea is flat we move your lesson for free or run a skate-and-theory session.
Six people for beginners, five for intermediates, three for pro coaching. Private lessons are available too.
Lessons can be cancelled free up to 48 hours before. Camps can be moved to another week up to 14 days before.
