Records, rooftop, and the slow hours after sunset.
Low Tide Sessions started as four friends, one borrowed sound system and a car-park roof with a view of the harbour. Eleven editions later it is the same idea, only louder and better lit: we play records while the sun goes down, keep playing while the tide comes in, and stop at one because the neighbours have boats.
The first half of the night is Side A: warm, slow and melodic. Balearic cuts, dub, disco edits, music you can talk over with a drink in your hand. Side B starts at ten, when the guests take over and the dancefloor stops pretending it came for the view.
Everything is vinyl until midnight. Every edition gets a catalogue number, a hand-printed poster and a small run of 12-inch records pressed from the residents' favourite side.

Getting there
Pier 9,
level 7
9 Quay Street, Harbourside.
Orange gate, lift to the roof.
- On foot
Six minutes from Harbour Station. Follow Quay Street east along the blue railings; Pier 9 is the one with the orange gate.
- Tram
Line 4 to Customs House, then two minutes south. Trams run every eight minutes until 00:45.
- Ferry
F2 from Old Town docks at Pier 8 every twenty minutes. The last boat back leaves at 01:20 and waits for the last record.
- Bike
Sixty racks inside the Pier 9 gate, watched by the door team all night.
Step-free access, lift to level 7 and accessible toilets on the roof. Quiet room on level 6. If it rains, we move to the Winter Room downstairs on the same ticket.
